On May 24, Asian Legal Business held its annual Australasian Law Awards ceremony at Sydney Town Hall. For the third time, S&C was recognized as International Firm of the Year. S&C had previously won in this category in 2006 and 2008. This result exhibits S&C’s leading market position in Australasia in spite of the entry of several international firms into the Australian market over the past few years.

S&C also received an award for Debt Market Deal of the Year for its role as U.S. counsel to Australia and New Zealand Banking Group on its global covered bond program. Mr. Jones and Mr. Bhavnagri accepted the awards on behalf of the Firm.
