Ms. Ressler and Ms. Payne were recently named to the Daily Journal’s list of the Top Women Lawyers of 2012. The list, which included profiles of Ms. Ressler and Ms. Payne, recognizes women lawyers in California at the top of their practice.

Ms. Ressler and Ms. Payne were singled out for their work on behalf of Skype and Silver Lake in connection with the $8.5 billion acquisition of Skype by Microsoft Corporation. The Daily Journal noted, “Ressler helped lead [this transaction] – one of the largest tech sales in the past decade.” The Daily Journal also noted that Ms. Payne, who also “played a central role” on the deal, “has amassed an impressive portfolio of major deals that include some big-name clients.” Ms. Ressler was recognized for her work on behalf of several high-profile clients, including Versa Capital Management and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International.
