Last month, Mr. Seymour participated in the conference, Pro Bono and the Legal Profession: Strengthening Access to Justice, held in Santiago, Chile by The Vance Center for International Justice at the New York City Bar Association, in collaboration with Fundación Pro Bono Chile.

In his capacity as president of the City Bar, Mr. Seymour delivered remarks on the theme of advancing access to justice. Mr. Seymour also participated in a bar association leaders’ roundtable.

The conference, which was attended by more than 250 lawyers from around the world, concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement among the Vance Center, Fundación Pro Bono Chile and the Inter-American Court on Human Rights to coordinate efforts to promote pro bono work and expand access to justice.
