In a profile of U.K. permanent secretary of tax David Hartnett, published in the Financial Times on May 31, Mr. Korb described Mr. Hartnett as “a cutting edge thinker in the world of tax administration.” FT noted that, in his role as IRS chief counsel between 2004 and 2009, Mr. Korb “swapped ideas with Mr. Hartnett on many occasions.”
