On June 27, Mr. Friedman will speak at the American Conference Institute’s seminar in Chicago on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He will present on the U.K. Bribery Act and its intersection with the FCPA, and provide insights as to how clients can ensure that their compliance programs are compatible with both U.K. and U.S. laws. The conference will explore recent developments and changes with respect to Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice enforcement of the FCPA, as well practical advice for advising clients faced with white collar investigations and helping such clients bolster and enhance their risk management protocols.
